Tis the Season for Giving

Alright Christmas fanatics, it’s that time of year again when Halloween is over and 11/1 has come and gone. It’s about that time to get in the Christmas spirit with music, decorations, food (loosen up those belt buckles or find your sweatpants) and of course gifts. When we were kids, they did always say “it is better to give than to receive.” We all thought it was hoopla, but if you have done it, you know that rewarding feeling.

Each year, Midwest Sign Company teams up with International Voice of the Orphan (IVO) to support the GEM Foundation, an orphanage in Uganda that supports special needs children. Led by EmmaLee Quisenberry, this orphanage provides food, clothing, and medical necessities to children who are otherwise abandoned. It is a truly selfless organization that we are proud to fundraise for, each and every year. Funds have gone toward surveying and buying land, purchasing construction materials, and laying the groundwork for building a newer, more functional, and more accommodating facility for these children and their caretakers. We are very close to helping them achieve their goals.
